Bohater sztuki, Arek, ma 12 lat. Każdego dnia towarzyszy mu „uporczywa myśl” – trudna, natrętna, która mówi chłopcu, że wszystko robi źle. W życiu nie pomaga również Arkowi obecność dwóch chłopców, nazwanych przez Arka „Crabbe i Goyle”, którzy w szkole znęcają się nad nim psychicznie, budzą w nim strach i go szantażują. Bohater ucieka w świat gier komputerowych, a spokój znajduje w ciemności – będąc sam ze sobą. Sztuka konfrontuje odbiorców z tematem samotności oraz przemocy doświadczanej ze strony rówieśników. 

The protagonist of the play, Arek, is twelve years old. Every day he is accompanied by an “intrusive thought” – persistent and distressing, constantly telling him that everything he does is wrong. His life is made even more difficult by the presence of two boys, whom he calls “Crabbe and Goyle”. At school, they subject him to psychological bullying, intimidate him, and blackmail him. Seeking escape, Arek retreats into the world of computer games, while the only sense of peace he finds comes in the darkness, alone with himself. The play confronts audiences with the issues of loneliness and peer violence, exploring the emotional impact of bullying and social exclusion.

For more than fifty years, the Department of Puppetry in Wrocław has been educating actors and theatre-makers, combining the traditions of puppet theatre with contemporary forms of stage expression. It is a place open to experimentation, original artistic exploration, and interdisciplinary creative practice. 

Students develop their skills in acting, movement, voice, and the animation of puppets and stage objects, while creating a bold and contemporary theatrical language that responds to the challenges and possibilities of modern performance.
