Opening of the Exhibition of Works by Students of Puppetry Technology

Technologia Teatru Lalek to kierunek, który w ciągu sześciu lat swojego funkcjonowania na trwałe wpisał się w strukturę uczelni, stając się jej ważnym i rozpoznawalnym elementem. Obecność studentów tego kierunku przynosi wymierne efekty współpracy z osobami studiującymi aktorstwo i reżyserię, wzbogacając wspólne projekty o kompetencje technologiczne i plastyczne. 

Absolwenci kierunku tworzą scenografie dla teatrów instytucjonalnych, a także współrealizują przedsięwzięcia teatrów niezależnych, działając jako partnerzy i współtwórcy projektów artystycznych. 

Istotnym zadaniem kierunku jest również odbudowa profesji rzemieślnika teatralnego – specjalisty współpracującego ze scenografami, reżyserami i inscenizatorami. Program studiów dostarcza studentom praktycznych narzędzi, które znajdują zastosowanie w ich późniejszej działalności zawodowej. W procesie kształcenia wykorzystujemy indywidualne doświadczenia studentów, rozwijając ich kreatywność oraz przygotowując ich do pracy zarówno w teatrze ożywionej formy, jak i w innych obszarach współczesnego teatru, wymagających znajomości nowych technologii, materiałów i środków wyrazu. 

Studenci mają również możliwość uczestniczenia w zagranicznych wyjazdach studyjnych, warsztatach twórczych oraz licznych wydarzeniach artystycznych. 

Na wystawie prezentujemy prace związane z organizacją przestrzeni teatralnej, różnorodne typy lalek oraz obiekty dydaktyczne ukazujące wybrane procesy technologiczne. Poprzez przygotowywanie wystaw, pokazów i ich aranżacji uczymy przyszłych twórców odpowiedzialności za podejmowane decyzje, świadomego kształtowania formy oraz umiejętności selekcji środków wyrazu w dążeniu do osiągnięcia zamierzonego efektu wizualnego.

Puppet Theatre Technology is a programme that, over the course of the six years of its existence, has become firmly embedded in the structure of the Academy, becoming an important part of its identity. The presence of its students has brought tangible results through collaboration with Acting and Directing students, enriching joint projects with technological and visual expertise. 

Graduates of the programme create stage designs for institutional theatres, while also contributing to independent theatre productions as collaborators and creative partners. 

One of the programme’s key objectives is to revive the profession of the theatrical craftsperson – a specialist working alongside scenographers, directors, and stage creators. The curriculum provides students with practical tools that they can apply in their future professional careers. Throughout the educational process, we draw on students’ individual experiences, fostering creativity and preparing them to work both in puppet and animated-form theatre and in other areas of contemporary performance that require an understanding of new technologies, materials, and modes of expression. 

Students also have the opportunity to participate in international study visits, creative workshops, and a wide range of artistic events. 

The exhibition presents works related to the organisation of theatrical space, various types of puppets, and educational objects demonstrating selected technological processes. Through the preparation of exhibitions, presentations, and their visual arrangements, students learn responsibility in decision-making, the conscious shaping of form, and the ability to select and refine artistic means in pursuit of a desired visual effect.
