Etiuda opowiada o tęsknocie, która w sposób nieprzewidywalny i niepostrzeżony wkrada się w codzienność. O czym mówi nam tęsknota? Czy dobrze jest tęsknić? Czy tęsknota nie zatruwa nam codzienności i nie zabiera tak cennego „tu i teraz”? Ale jakie byłoby życie bez niej? Czy ludzie i wydarzenia miałyby taką wartość, gdybyśmy nie tęsknili? Czy da się kochać i nie tęsknić? Etiuda nie dostarcza prostych odpowiedzi na te trudne pytania, ale poprzez pochylenie nad obrazem inspirowanym losami wiernej Penelopy, żony Odyseusza, chce zaprosić do zanurzenia się we wspólnej refleksji na ten temat.

Etiuda powstała w ramach zajęć „Zadania aktorskie z przedmiotem” na I roku studiów.

Penelope is a poetic meditation on longing—a feeling that quietly and unexpectedly finds its way into everyday life.

What does longing reveal about us? Is it a gift or a burden? Does it deprive us of the precious „here and now,” or does it give meaning to love, memory, and absence? Would people and moments carry the same value if we never longed for them?

Drawing inspiration from the story of Penelope, the faithful wife of Odysseus, this performance does not attempt to answer these questions. Instead, it invites the audience to contemplate them together.

Created as part of the first-year acting course Acting Tasks with an Object.
