Behind the Mask is a visually compelling production that uses the language of puppet theatre to reflect on contemporary realities. The performance combines four forms of puppetry: masks, shadow theatre, tabletop puppetry, and object theatre. 

Without the use of words, the performers employ movement, light, and visual imagery to explore themes of routine, collective identity, dictatorship, and the personal consequences of war. The performance addresses forced military conscription, the loneliness of mothers raising children on their own, and the resilience of childhood dreams in a world marked by trauma and constant change. 

Za maską to wyrazisty wizualnie spektakl, który wykorzystuje język teatru lalek do refleksji nad współczesną rzeczywistością. Przedstawienie łączy cztery formy lalkarskiej ekspresji: maskę, teatr cieni, teatr lalek stolikowych oraz teatr przedmiotu. 

Bez użycia słów, za pomocą ruchu, światła i obrazów scenicznych, wykonawcy podejmują temat rutyny, tożsamości zbiorowej, dyktatury oraz osobistych konsekwencji wojny. Spektakl porusza kwestie przymusowego poboru do wojska, samotności matek samodzielnie wychowujących dzieci oraz siły dziecięcych marzeń, które potrafią przetrwać nawet w świecie naznaczonym traumą i nieustannymi zmianami.
